Surround frames are a popular combination with wall recessed post boxes as they ensure the edging of the mailboxes runs flush to the property wall.
All wall recessed mailboxes accept mail at the front, and also allow for retrieval of deposited mail at the front of the product. Mail is secured using a coded key and lock produced specifically for each individual post box.
Wall recessed post boxes are typically manufactured using high quality zintec steel and aluminium extrusion or brushed stainless steel. Mailboxes are available in a variety of colour finishes to meet the design style of each project and location, finished with polyester powder coated paint from our standard range of RAL colours.
A Popular Solution – The COM 1 Mailbox
The COM 1 mailbox is a robust and long-lasting mail solution that combines delicate design features with strong aluminium extrusion material. The COM 1 is a vertical mailbox that can be banked in stacks of up to 3 high and is suitable for both internal and external installation.
The COM 1 mailbox is extremely versatile product that can be used as a wall mounted, wall recessed or freestanding mail storage solution.
How do you fit wall recessed mailboxes?
Once all fixing points have been marked, the mailboxes should be removed and the walls drilled and plugged. The mailboxes can then be returned to the aperture and screw-fixed through the fixing holes into the now prepared walls.
